We've known that Rarity often gets the gems for her business by mining for them. Gem hunting by yourself would be a rather boring experience, I'd suspect.

I could not get Rarity's shading to look right in this image for some reason. Every time I fixed up one area, it'd throw off another section. I just kind of gave up on the shading after a while.

I also just noticed that this would make for a decent background, thanks to the darkened section on the side. The full-sized download should be enough for most widescreen monitors.
