Dusky in Flight

...I can't believe it's been a year and a half since I've drawn anything, much less uploaded a thing to here...
Guess it's time to dust everything off.

It's been a long while since I've had the inspiration to draw anything more than a few scribbles.  Though, a recent poke from a friend gave me just the nudge I needed to try drawing again, and experiment with a slightly different drawing style at the same time.  As much as I enjoyed using colored outlines to match the show, it left me with somewhat limited options in the way of shading, and often would make soft shadows look a bit awkward.

Anyway, here we have KuroiTsubasaTenshi's character, Dusky Down, a pegasus and part-time weatherpony for Ponyville, just enjoying a calm flight through the skies.  She has a rather eventful life, so opportunities to enjoy something as simple as a carefree flight are a little more precious than others might think.
